The Board of Medina County Commissioners, the University of Akron, MCPA and the Medina County Economic Development Corporation have joined forces to create the Medina County University Center and Innovation Park. Lafayette Township, where the business park is located, has created special zoning to attract companies such as research and development, corporate headquarters and professional office activities.
